For the month of February to be so short in days, I’ve sure been busy and super excited to share the good news with you!

The month started with a BANG and I have been so blessed by God this month, by answering my prayers and meeting ALL of my needs. January was extremely slow, as in the fact that I did not photograph one jet, the entire month. I was feeling very blue about my situation, yet I never stopped praying to God, thanking him for all the many blessings he has given me in my life. No matter what situation I find myself in, I know in my heart that I have it “better” than probably 90% of the entire world and I am so grateful for where I am.

If you ever get really down and depressed, just go to your local hospital and walk up and down the hallways and see all of the sick people in there, people that would give all the money in the world to be able to get up out of that hospital bed and be healthy! If you are walking and upright, and breathing, count your blessings!

Now, back to my story; I received a call from three new clients at the start of the month, and they all wanted me to photograph a jet for their respective companies. On Wednesday, Feb. 5, I photographed a Falcon 50 in Ft. Worth, TX for a new client; and that afternoon, I photographed a Cessna CJ2+ for another new client in Dallas, TX. The following morning, I woke up at 4:00 a.m. in order to be at DFW Airport to catch a 6:00 a.m. flight to Orlando, FL to photograph two jets. One was a Cessna Citation Sovereign, and the other was a Cessna CJ1+. I flew over there that morning, photographed both jets, and then flew back to Dallas that evening. It was a busy and very productive day, although the day was quite long, I was so excited about everything, I wasn’t even tired when I went to bed about 1:00 a.m. on Friday morning.

From there, I drove down to Austin for the weekend, to help a friend of mine, photograph a small wedding on Saturday afternoon. Then after that, I drove up to Ft. Worth on Monday morning, so I could photograph a Gulfstream G-200 for a client whom I’ve photographed a number of jets for in the past, on Monday afternoon.

God has blessed me so much this month, it is just amazing and I am looking forward to what he has in store for me in March! Stay tuned and thank you for reading my blog.

I apologize for not writing anything on my blog for such a long time. There is no excuse for it, I just got busy and didn’t take enough time out of my busy day, to write anything.

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a Challenger 601A for a client of mine and the photos turned out great. It was a very beautiful jet. Truthfully, I don’t think there are very many “ugly jets” to be honest with you.

The pilot of the aircraft was very helpful in arranging the jet where I needed it placed for the exterior photos, and then I was able to photograph the interior of the aircraft after that.

I was recently hired to photograph two jets, in one day, down in Houston, TX by a client of mine.

I drove down to Houston and spent the night there, then woke up around 6.30 a.m. to make sure I got to the airport in plenty of time before the sun came up.

I photographed the exteriors of both jets, as the sun was rising, in order to get the most beautiful light available on them. After than, we put both of the jets back into the hangars for the interior shots. Due to there not being any air conditioning running in either plane, due to safety regulations, the inside temperature of both jets was extremely high, plus, in Houston, there is ALWAYS a ton of humidity being right next to The Gulf of Mexico.

I think during the course of photographing both jets, I must have lost about 10 pounds of water weight. I was soaking wet when I finished! Thankfully, I had made a request with my hotel for a “very late check-out” and I was able to go back to the hotel and clean up, before I drove back to Dallas.

I am so fortunately to do what I love and I have such a passion for my job. I am truly blessed!

Posting one of the jets on this post, I’ll save the photos of the other jet, until my next blog.

I had the pleasure of photographing an Embraer Legacy 600, a few weeks ago, and had not yet posted a blog about it. The Embraer Legacy is basically an Embraer 135 Regional Jet, with the updated Mark I cockpit of an Embraer 145. This aircraft is built by Embrear Aircraft in Brazil. Many of your smaller, commuter carriers, such as American Eagle, Delta Connection, US Airways Express and United Express utilize these jets on a number of flights each day from their fortress hubs to smaller communities throughout the United States. The Embraer Legacy was launched in 2000 and is considered a “Super Mid-size” corporate jet, and it competes on the upper end of the small to mid sized range of business jets.

In over ten years of service, Embraer has delivered over 160 Legacy 600 aircraft in more than 20 countries. It has seating for 13 passengers in three partitioned sections within the aircraft.

This jet currently sales for approximately $20 million +, depending on all the “bells and whistles” an owner would want to purchase for their aircraft. The closest competitors to the size of this jet are the Gulfstream G-550 and Bombardier Global Express jets, and they are significantly more expensive to purchase than the Legacy 600.

I’ve been fairly busy this summer and so thankful for it. I know it has been a while since I’ve posted anything and I will start a great effort to update my site/blog more often, as I have really started to grow my business. I photographed this Citation CJ2 aircraft in June and in my previous post, I only posted photos of the exterior of that aircraft, and today I’m going to post photos of the interior.

This work is for a charter client who has numerous aircraft in their managed fleet that are available for charter. They are excellent to work with, extremely reliable, extremely safe and very professional. I highly recommend them.

I had a client contact me about photographing a Citation CJ2 jet that they own, and charter out to private clients, and wanted to show you just a few of the exterior shots of it. Photographed it very early last week, before the sun got too high in the sky, and also before it got too hot.

One thing about it, during the summer months, the DFW area does not cool down MUCH after the sun goes down. It is just basically HOT from June through September. But I would gladly take hot days over cold days any time I was given the choice. I do NOT like cold weather. No thanks!

Last Monday, I had a client hire me to photograph a Cessna Citation Bravo that is currently for sale.  I always enjoy working with this client, as he has been such a strong supporter of my company; and I think he loves airplanes just as much as I do.  He likes to sell them !!

The captain of the jet was there to help me, and he was a huge help.  He actually turned the A/C on inside the cabin, while I was photographing the interior of the jet, and that was so thoughtful of him.  During the summer months, the interior cabins of these jets get extremely hot and it becomes a sauna situation inside the cabin, as there is no air circulation in the hangar, and of course, no air circulating inside cabin either.  Plus, you’ve got all the avionics lit up and those screens produce a great deal of heat, and on top of that, you have all the interior lights on, as well; so the prospective client can get a good idea what the aircraft looks like during a flight.

This week is going to be a busy week, too.  Photographing a Cessna CJ4 on Wednesday, then driving down to Austin to photograph an Embraer Legacy jet on Thursday.
